Upgrading users

The cost for upgrading your AQT license is given below

  • to upgrade from a Standard Edition license to an Extended Edition license, use the Edition Upgrade
  • to upgrade from any prior version to AQT v11, use the Version 11 Upgrade

    • The Edition Upgrade will upgrade you from any prior version of Standard Edition to AQT v11 Extended Edition. So if you are currently running AQT v9 Standard Edition, and you wish to go to AQT v11 Extended Edition, you just need to purchase an Edition Upgrade. You do not need to purchase a Version Upgrade in addition to this.

    The Version 11 Upgrade will take you to AQT v11 of the same edition.

    License Terms

    • AQT licenses are per user. You may use your license on more than one machine (as long as it is used only by yourself).
    • you may use your license on a hosted server, virtualization server or virtual machine.
    • for companies: you need to purchase a license for every person using AQT. We do not offer concurrent-user licensing.
    • you may use AQT against any number of databases or database types.
    • the prices given here are one-off charges for use of AQT v11. Annual renewal is not required.
    • there is no charge to upgrade to a new release within the version for which you are licensed. For more on this see Upgrade policy.

      • Maintenance and Support

      We support an AQT version for 12 months after the subsequent version has been released. Support is provided by email only, and is currently at no cost.

      Maintenance agreements that cover future version upgrades are available for organisations that meet certain criteria. For further information on this please email support@dbquerytool.com
